Scotty started out in the industry with Univac mainframes and teletypes learning the real definition of 'boot loader' from his father. After working his way through 8 bit Acorn and Atari computers too various 16/32 bit Amiga's, Atari's and Mac's leaving university brought him to Windows first of all as a developer.
From seeing an opportunity in deploying Windows in workgroups to working on some of the first large scale deployments of NDS and in recent years as Chief Technical Analyst of a global banking design and deployment of Active Directory to a quarter of a million users.
Directory Services and the server operating systems are his primary focus.
Scotty is currently a Subject Matter Expert with Perot Systems in the Enterprise Consulting Team.
