But in these hard times, isn't it cheaper to build your own CA and import the root cert to your phone and computers? Thats what I've been doing for a few years now and OMA + OWA work a treat. On boxes that dont have the root cert, when using OWA, you still get asked if you want to trust the server cert. I answer "yes" and it all works. Worked for my windows mobile phone and works a treat on the iPhone.

Yeah have to agree it is very straighforward, though I did trip over a few things to kick off with. Mainly BIOS versions on the Dell servers I was using which though they had the Virtualization support in the CPU, HyperV couldn't see it. Once that was sorted it was pretty easy going. Nice going back to the old days of command prompt too!

I thought it might be useful to right an article on my experiences which I've posted on thecodefish.com website here: www.thecodefish.com/.../Windows_2008_HyperV_Installation_Part_I

Cheers

I will be testing the tool from Microsoft at www.microsoft.com/.../pkuinstructions.aspx to see if it will work for those situations.

A piece of good advice is also that if you have entered a license key but not yet activated it then choose the manual/phone registration step in the wizard and enter a new license key.

A few commands to get started with Windows Server Core

Scotty wrote: Mark mailed me last night to ask about my crib sheet for Core Server but as it was Friday
